City of Love; City of Lights - that's what Paris is often referred to. Spending a couple of days or a weekend is just enough to explore the city; filled with romance, culture, arts, shopping and desserts! Paris has many museum to offer housing some important collections in the world - Mona Lisa & Venus de Milo. Walk through beautiful alleys and passages while having a macaroon or croissant. Or you can enjoy a relaxing day in one of the many gardens or parks. And to the Eiffel tower for sunset while waiting for it to sparkle by night. Getting around Paris is easy. The metro brings you everywhere and everything is very close by. The best way to explore Paris is to WALK :) No trip is complete without visiting the Eiffel Tower! It has the most romantic backdrop and do stay till after sunset to watch the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle! It is really breathtaking and romantic that I had to watch it sparkle twice before I'm satisfied to leave the place. One can spend hours in the many gardens or parks in Paris for a picnic or an afternoon in the sun. They are just so beautiful. You can explore: Jardin du Luxembourg Tuileries Garden lined with statues and art - holds summer carnival (located just behind Louvre) La Promenade Plantee - elevated leafy footpath park. Once a old railway track. Jardin des Plantes Temple Romantique - Known as Temple of Love; Located at Bois de Vincennes (largest park) Parc des Buttes Chaumont - north of Paris. Located on top of a hill (great view) There are many museums in Paris to visit: Musée du Louvre - huge collection and Mona Lisa (no trip is complete without a visit to the iconic glass pyramids) Musée d'Orsay - old railway station.
