Home to lego houses, lego, minimalists and terrible weather. Feels like London's weather almost throughout the year; typical scandinavian country. The city feels clean, neat and super developed. It was the peak of winter (winter wonderland market!) when I was there. Weather was bad as the sunrise starts at 8.30am and set at 3.30pm. We were already engulfed by darkness by 4pm! I felt so depressed. Not sure how do people live in winter. I need the sunlight to operate else I would have already been contacted with depression! Getting around by public transport is very easy since the city is super developed. Christinia - Green light district; home to hippies, hash (similar to marijuana) and graffiti. It was quite an interesting sight as the sellers were unable to show who they are. They wore black face mask which covers their face entirely. Only their mouth area was shown and everyone of them wore funky sunglasses to hide their face. Hash can be purchased and totally legal only at Christinia. Photography was prohibited hence I couldn't take any photos. We did try some hash, and personally I HATE it. It smells bad and too much smoke was produced. Papirøen - Copenhagen Street Food This place feels a lot like Pasarbelle in Singapore. Many hippie cafes and food stalls. Winter wonderland market: Wherever I walk to, there's always a christmas around the corner. The feeling was magical. And they are really popular with their hot spiced mulled red wine; Glühwein. It's very popular during winter and in their traditional christmas market. It helps keeps your inside nice and warm. yumz! Nyhavn: full of pretty little boat lego houses along side river canal. Many restaurants here. Photo worthy place! Magstræde: a little alley of the prettiest part of lego town. Photo worthy too! Louisiana Museum of Modern Art: This museum I can say was one of the best. The exhibition was really good and the architecture inside was superb! Worth going though it's a distance from town. Amalienborg: There's changing of guards here at 12 noon and I happened to arrive there just in time. The guards stood so still and I felt like tickling their nose! ;P Frederik's Church: the interior of this church was grand and magnificent. You can also climb to the top of the dome to see the city view which incur a cost. But I did not as I've already been up the Round Tower in town! Rosenborg Palace Garden Kongens Have: I imagined this garden would be lovely in Summer as the layout of the garden was precise. I even got stuck while trying to climb onto a branch of a tree! I was wearing 3 layers for my bottoms that I can hardly bend my legs to climb! Tivoli Gardens: one of the OLDEST, BEST AND PRETTIEST theme park in the world!! Opened since 1843! Feels like those theme park you see in olden days movies. There was even a winter wonderland inside the theme park. Rides, games, musicals, ballet, and major concerts. Although it was really costly, entrance fee, ride fee, food fee. Everything is chargeable inside. A MUST MUST MUST GO!
